Busy Sunday

What a busy Sunday for sleep deprived parents :-) . Travis had stake priesthood session at 7:00 A.M. They had a member from the 70 come up to speak to them. Right after, we had ward confrence. We left once again to go down to Farmington to my mom's Stake conference where Dallin H. Oaks (my favorite apostle) was speaking. We both got to meet him and shake his hand. Travis had a couple of conversations with Elder Oaks. Yes Elder Oaks of the Quorum of the 12 Apostles. He's shorter than he looks on TV. I'm not much shorter with high heels on, which was kind of weird for me being able to essentially look him in the eye.
This also was not the first time that Travis has been at a live conference with an apostle. Our neighbor's grandpa was Joseph B. Wirthlin. He spoke at Travis's high school baccalaureate. While everyone was standing in awe, Travis was wondering what the big deal was about that old guy(at that point in time Travis had no idea who Elder Wirthin was because he was inactive through his teen years.).
