Our Honeymoon

We went down to St. George, Zion National Park, Las Vegas and tried to go to the Grand Canyon on our honeymoon. Zion's is great place for hikers; for basic sight seeing it's kind of blah...at least in April it is.

When we tried to go to Grand Canyon, we got about half way only to find out the road, surprisingly, was still closed! Instead of going off on our own to brave where not even the forest service would go, we just headed back to our condo. It was a nice jaunt thru the upper corner of Arizona.

Las Vegas is just plain dirty. The temple (very hard to find and no one knows where it is) is really pretty inside. We saw 2 women beat up a guy outside of Excaliber...we swear one of them had to be a transvestite :) Vegas is an interesting place for sure....We saw either a Dulce & Gabana or Dior dress that was $44,000!!! No joke! We loved the fountains at the Bellagio.

It was a long drive back to St. George. We had to stop a couple of times to sleep so we didn't wreck...needless to say, we got back to the condo at 5 am, all in one piece.
